Pretty good place. I didn't know what encahuatadas enchiladas were, so the waitress brought me some and the chips for free. The old fashioned cocktail was really strong, and came with some nice garnish. The staff was very attentive. Most people seem to come here for beers or drinks, but the food was pretty good. I had caldo de cameron which took a while to arrive, so it was nice to have the peanuts. I'll probably come back with a friend. Seems like a good place to try a variety of things.
My husband and I had such a great time at El Desestres on our getaway to Guadalajara this week! This corner joint has a plethora of great tequila. Also tasted and learned about the microbrews around, delicious lagers and IPA’s! Staff was friendly and cool. We enjoyed it so much we went back-to-back days!
The place has an authentic decoration, offers good music during weekends and has great food an drinks. I had a nigroni cocktail that was just exquisite. It's a good place to go on a date or with friends.
The bartender recommended the "spring/summer" season cocktail that was absolutely refreshing and divine. I ordered two I loved it that much. I appreciated that she had many recommendations up her sleeve!

Beautifully decorated bar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere, live music and karaoke in the evenings. The cocktails are very tasty. For the ladies, my recommendation is “naked and famous”.
